Welcome - Read on and/or Keep in Touch!

-- Purpose --
We want this blog to document some of our favorite moments and experiences as we travel around the world over the years. This is partially for our benefit - so we make sure not to miss anything! But, it's also so we can keep in touch with our friends and family. We love to hear from you so let us know what you think!

Sydney and Sea Day

The gents flew in to Sydney yesterday at 8:45AM local time.  We got through customs and into downtown Sydney by midday and then went on a backstage tour of the Sydney Opera House. Luckily for us, all of the theaters were open to visit and we ended up getting asked to perform a number in the Sydney Orchestra Hall in the Opera House.
We then went on the “I’m Free” free walking tour around Sydney. Our guide, Evan, was excellent, giving us the pertinent history information while also telling us how to enjoy the best of Sydney. We saw most of the downtown area including the Town Hall, Hyde Park, Circular Quey and The Rocks, and got several fantastic photos.
We got on the ship at 6pm last night, checked in to our rooms, and got ready for dinner. After dinner we went on a much needed walk around the boat to get acquainted with the different amenities on board.
After sleeping like uncommonly cooperative babies, we woke up this morning to a leisurely brunch and went to a ‘muster’ (evacuation drill). Now we’re gearing up for our first performance tonight! The guests on board have been asking us when we’re going to perform so we’re excited to earn our keep starting tonight!

- All the best,

The VGs

  1. We're delighted to hear that the Gents arrived safely and that the adventure has, indeed, begun. Looking forward to reading about the first performance and events of the next day. Knock 'em dead, VGs. With much love from Marianne Cruden
