-- Purpose --
We want this blog to document some of our favorite moments and experiences as we travel around the world over the years. This is partially for our benefit - so we make sure not to miss anything! But, it's also so we can keep in touch with our friends and family. We love to hear from you so let us know what you think!

Doha*

Greetings from the Hamad International Airport in Doha. We got in on time after a very pleasant, though long flight on a shiny newish Airbus A350.  From our economy (scum) class seats, we had a privileged view into business class. Ooh.

In all seriousness that was a very comfortable long haul flight, even with the dueling crying babies in the rows in front of an beside us.  Fun fact: Erika helped make this wing!

We’ve wandered around the airport here a bit and have seen some interesting statues.  Qatar seems to have a thing for making generally happy things into big and sad statues.

Next stop - Tanzania!
